How to Make a Natural Lemon Dandruff Treatment

There are many dandruff treatments available at your local grocery store, but they tend to be expensive and contain harsh chemicals. Some products can even destroy the natural oils that your scalp produces to prevent dandruff. Lemon is nature's dandruff cure. It's simple, inexpensive and effective. So the next time you head to the store for a dandruff treatment, be sure to look in the produce isle.

Things You'll Need
Fresh lemons
2 tbsp. coconut oil
Handkerchief
3 tbsp. of henna powder
1 egg

Squeeze the juice of one fresh lemon into a glass of water. Wet your hair and wring out the excess water. Massage your scalp for a few minutes with the lemon peel and rinse your hair with the lemon juice and water mixture. Repeat this natural dandruff treatment weekly for beautiful dandruff-free hair.

Warm 2 cups of water and add the juice of one fresh lemon and 2 tbsp. coconut oil. Rinse your hair and massage the mixture into your hair and scalp. Next, wring out the excess liquid and wrap your head in a handkerchief. Leave the mixture in overnight, then wash your hair as normal. Repeat two times a month as an effective dandruff treatment.

Combine 3 tbsp. henna powder, one egg and the juice from one fresh lemon and mix into a paste. Apply the paste to your scalp, massaging gently. Leave this in for at least 15 minutes. This natural remedy can be repeated weekly as a conditioning dandruff treatment.

Soak brushes and combs overnight in a one-to-one mixture of lemon juice and water to sanitize them and prevent the spread or reoccurrence of dandruff. Good luck.
